Louis Hotels, one of the biggest hotel groups in Greece and Cyprus, is seeking to recruit an individual for its hotel on Mykonos Island

Housekeeping Manager

Main responsibilities

· Comply with all company-related housekeeping standards and operating procedures, and where needed establish additional ones.

· Train housekeepers on daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.

· Oversee daily staff performance and on-the-job training.

· Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness.

· Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence.

· Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job.

· Respond to customer complaints and special requests.

· Monitor and replenish housekeeping products stock.

· Participate in large cleaning projects as required e.g. seasonal opening and closing of the hotel.

· Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.

Qualifications

· Degree in Hospitality/Tourism.

· 3 years’ minimum experience as a HSK Manager in a hotel with similar high standards.

· Excellent organizational and team management skills.

· Excellent command of English language is essential; knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered as an asset.

· Self-motivated, enthusiastic, guest oriented and with a hands-on operations management approach.

· Excellent MS Office, PMS-computer skills.
