Mediterranean gastronomic elements and wine pairings change in tempo with the iconic view in Mykonos Social, by Jason Atherton, a Michelin-starred chef, where guests indulge in relaxing lunches and ambrosial dinners in a sumptuous scene filled with abundant sunlight, laughter, and culinary prowess.
As we wish to expand our team, we are looking for a Chef de Partie to support our Chefs to put their own unique twists to well-known and much-loved dishes.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day production needs from an assigned station.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus; utilise various kitchen utensils and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Keep production to the level required by the Executive Chef.
- Effectively participate in a professionally run service period, ensuring excellence in cooking, timing, plate assembly, and communication.
- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment throughout the shift in accordance with the restaurant standards.
Job-Related Skills/Requirements
- 3 years in a similar position ideally within a hotel environment or luxury restaurant.
- Ability to perform all essential duties during a lengthy, high-volume, and high-pressure service.
- Superb attention to detail and driven by delivering exception standards.
- Genuinely care about the quality of the food they prepare.
- Capacity to work with a sense of urgency.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the team.
- Good English Language skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Culinary Degree or related major would be a plus.
- English-Language Certificate.
